Corporate Counsel, Vivien Peaden, Speaks at Emory International Students Event

Vivien Peaden, Charter Global Corporate Counsel, spoke recently at the Emory Career Forum for International Students.


Emory University of Law Career Forum was coordinated for foreign law students seeking to establish legal careers in the United States. Panelists discuss U.S. employers’ views on hiring international law students, how to effectively market international experiences, the value of networking in the U.S. legal profession, long-term employment in the U.S., as well as work authorization and sponsorship.


Peaden shared her story about coming to the U.S. for law school, her work experiences in the profession, and the importance of networking. Students were inspired by her experience and learned career tips to help guide them through the challenges.


Vivien Peaden is Corporate Counsel for Charter Global, an IT services and technology consulting organization headquartered in Atlanta with development centers in India.
